Linda Vester is a former journalist and filmmaker based in the New York City area. She is best known for her work as a correspondent and anchor at NBC News from 1992-1999 and at Fox News Channel from 1999-2005.
She left television in 2005 to raise her children. In 2006 she produced an award-winning documentary about Rwanda, “Back Home”, directed by J.B. Rutagarama. Mr. Rutagarama is a Rwandan refugee who, as a teenager, worked as Linda’s translator as she and her NBC News crew covered the genocide.
